Submit your case

To submit your case please follow these instructions:

1. All cases must be fully anonymised as per RCEM standard practice for case reports. 

2. Inferences made from POCUS should be supported by a supervising Consultant to ensure reliable and authentic diagnoses.

3. The structure of the manuscript should be under 3 headings: Case details, US Scans, Summary of key learning points. The manuscript should be written in a Word document with images copy-pasted to the document. Video clips hould be sent as separate files attached to the email during submission.

4. Preferably all images and video clips should be downloaded directly from the ultrasound machine as opposed to mobile phone recordings of the ultrasound machine screen.

5. Manuscripts should be under 500words and sent to the Trainee Lead Editor, Dr Amy Knowles: amy.knowles4@nhs.net

6. A decision for publication and/or alterations will be communicated back to you in due course.
